Our Heavenly Father did not create man because He is lonely. He is already completely satisfied with Himself because He is Love (1 John 4:8). He created you and me to share the beauty of His family with us.
His nature is relational, as He has revealed in family terms: the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. The Trinity exemplifies what a family should be like, with each member agreeing and supporting one another. Since then, the Father, Son, and Spirit have shared the most important value: Love.
When we put our faith in the Son, the Father becomes our Abba (Daddy or Papa); other believers become our brothers and sisters, and the Ekklesia (assembly of believers) becomes our spiritual family.
The family members of our Father include believers in the past, today, and future.
The Father creates every human being, but not every human being is a child. He invites everyone to be His child and a member of His universal spiritual family, but there is one requirement: faith in the Begotten Son (John 1:12).
He guarantees eternal life the moment we were adopted into the Father's family as His children. He promised not to abandon us, including His promises of abundant life, intimate presence, and a family inheritance (Galatians 4:7).
Always keep in mind that the Father does not invite us because He needs servants. He longs for children who love and serve in the same way He does.
However, if we are part of a group or organization or a family that enslaves us in fear, we are no longer a child (Romans 8:15). Fear does not come from the Father. It is the work of the devil. He manipulates them with fear in order to rule over them. The Father, on the other hand, uses love to share His heart: His genuine service and care.
So what now if I am a child?
It means that the Father is pleased with us. So, if we are suffering unreasonably, the Father will come to our rescue. He will no longer allow others to continually exploit and harm us. The Father's love for us is greater than the seas and greater than the heavens. He can't afford to have us suffer, be insulted, blamed, and manipulated. Our exodus, like that of the people in the old covenant, is imminent.
