A Lesson From A Glass Of Water: Change Your Focus

Allow me to share this short story hoping that you will be inspired. 

There was a lady who talked to his brother, the leader of her group.

Lady: Brother I won't come to our group gathering anymore.

Brother: What's going on?

Lady: Because I have seen fellows of this group gossiping against each other, using their phones during worship time, members of the music team are proud, and many are hypocrites.

Brother: OK, but before you will leave, I would like to ask a favor, please get a glass full of water, then walk around the group for three times without even a little drop of water on the floor. After that, you are free to leave.

In the mind of the lady:

 "It is so simple." 

So the lady walked three times around the group. When she was done,

Lady: Brother, can I go now?

Brother: Before leaving, let me ask you some questions when you were walking, did you see someone gossiping and talking?

Lady: No, I did not see.

Brother: Did you see someone who is proud and a hypocrite?

Lady: I did not.

Brother: Did you see someone using their phone.

Lady: I did not see.

Brother: You know why?

Lady: I don't know.

Brother: It is because your focus was on the glass full of water. Right? You were very careful not to get stumble and no water may drop on the floor.

The implication of this: 

As we are the children of our Father, our focus should be on Him and not on people. 

If our focus is on Him, and not on people, then we do not have time to look at others' wrongdoings and failures. So change your focus whenever you are in your group family gathering.

After the brother finished talking, the lady left the group but she was pondering what the brother talked to her.



And also, the brother, who is the leader thinks what the lady said about the fellows in the group who have no etiquette.
