Happy New Year 2022

May we will overflow the blessings of our Father Almighty this year 2022. May He fills our hearts with His love and joy, give us good health, and continue to be gracious to us as we carry out His love to people.

And I also reflect that our thirst or hunger for Him should increase this year 2022. We won't settle to where we are now. We say, "We want more of you, Abba." In the book of Psalms, the deer is mentioned. I was reminded of it when we were at this mini deer farm. "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my Abba. My soul thirsts for You, for the living Almighty Father. When can I go and meet with my Father?"(Psalm 42:1-2)

I said," yes!" Like a deer, I pant for you. I long for you every single day. King David, the author of this passage understood very well the behavior of a deer. David was a very experienced hunter and outdoorsman. He spent most of his entire youth at wild. So he understood that as soon as a deer escapes and knows it is already safe from its predator, it immediately looks for calm water to replenish. However, if a deer continues to run long without water, the panting from lack of water will cause the deer to collapse and die. Likewise, when we are exhausted, feeling downcast, perhaps tired fighting from uncertainties of life, sickness, difficult relationships, and more; We need replenishment. However, we don't replenish ourselves from what the world offers. While others do, we come to God. We switch on the praise and worship songs, listen to the good news channels, and turn off the fear-instilling news. We meditate on His promises, we pray and agree with Him. He said, "Come to me and I give you rest," (Mathew 11:28).
Blessings and love to you and to your family
