I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. — Matthew 16:19
This reflection came to me while I was heating my coffee and gazing at the sun emerging from the hills.
We don't have to live defeated lives enslaved to fear. We have been given the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven—resources, protection, and power—to unlock whatever is held captive or withheld by the devil.
In our house, we possess keys for our main door and rooms. Without these keys, we cannot enter our house or rooms. These keys are known only to our family and not to anyone else. Just as my family can't enter our house whenever they want unless they have the key, because we are family, their authority to come and go is based on their relationship with their parents. This is also how the Kingdom operates. Our Father in Heaven has entrusted us with keys and given us authority to release His power here on earth, to bless and bring life wherever He has placed us.
